Total Ethiopia recognized by the Ministry of transport as the best contributor to road safety

An event was organized on 11 December 2020 by the ministry of transport to recognize safe drivers of the year, for the drivers working under the government offices.

In the event, H.E Dagmawit MOGES, the ministry of transport delivered a message that safety is not a one time and one sector’s job. It is every one’s contribution that realizes the global objective of “NO ONE SHALL DIE DUE TO TRAFFIC ACCIDENT”.

In her excellency’s speech, she mentioned six companies that contributed major role to the global safety objective of the country of which Total Ethiopia was the only oil company. The contribution was mentioned as playing its role to bring the drivers, working under the contracted transporters, to a level of safe drivers by a technologically supported training, by providing the traffic safety material for children at school and playing role to the accident minimization of the main road along Djibouti corridor.

Thibault LESUEUR, managing director of Total Ethiopia, congratulates all employees for their contribution to this trophy and emphasizes in his speech to intensify what is achieved so far and strive to achieve more on road safety.
