Official Inauguration Ceremony of the Reconstructed Gullellé Medhanialem TotalEnergies Service Station

The inaugural ceremony of the newly reconstructed Gullellé Medhanialem TotalEnergies Service Station was held on February 13, 2024, in the presence of Mr. Olivier VAN PARYS, Executive Vice President MS/AFR/MOI, H.E. Ambassador Rémi MARECHAUX, French Ambassador in Ethiopia, Mr. Christophe FERRAND, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Ethiopia, government officials, TotalEnergies Marketing Ethiopia managements, staff, invited guests and partners.

The Managing Director, Christophe FERRAND formally welcomed all the dignitaries and participants. He mentioned about the investment of more than 43 million Birr to equip the station’s safety standard to world class, increase of the fuel storage capacity by 67% and to enable the station to serve 8 vehicles simultaneously. He added that the station is becoming a marketplace to satisfy customers, with high standard services of Oil Changes, a Wash Bay and a restaurant partnering “Salt Burger”.
In his address, Mr. Van Parys said that TotalEnergies is proud to be in Ethiopia for 74 years, contributing to the economic development and social welfare of the country. He said, “This project is also a proof that the Company is here to stay for many more years supporting the Country’s economic development ambitions”. He also stated that TotalEnergies invested on the latest technologies and equipment to ensure safe and environmental-friendly operations protecting customers, stakeholders and the community.
