The Pitch Days for the 3rd Edition of the Startupper Challenge by TotalEnergies is finalized!

On November 4, 2021, the 3rd edition of Startupper of the year Challenge by TotalEnergies was officially launched and young entrepreneurs were invited to submit their applications online up to December 23rd through different medias.

Initially, there were 355 completed applications (279 applications under Business Creation Projects and 76 applications under Startup Under 3 Years) and after a continuous review and evaluation, the Top 15 finalists of the Startupper of the Year Challenge by TotalEnergies in Ethiopia were made it to the final Pitch Days to pitch in front of 11 jury members.

Before the 15 Top finalists are set for the Pitch Day, two sessions of briefing and valuable training were organized on Zoom and face-to-face. The sessions were very lively and active with questions and answers among the finalists.  These sessions were organized for the benefits of the candidates to make them confident enough and ready for the pitch day, which was done on April 4 and 5, 2022.

As the 3rd Edition of the Startupper Challenge by TotalEnergies has continued, the Top 15 Finalists (8 of them were female), have pitched their ideas/projects/startup at the TotalEnergies Marketing Ethiopia Head Quarters in front of the 11 selected Jury members in order for them to discover the final 3 Winners.

The jury members were excited to listen to every project presented and finally debated to identify the 3 outstanding projects among the 15. The identified 3 winners will be awarded based on the following categories;

• The "best business creation project"
• The "best startup under 3 years old"
• The "best female entrepreneur"  

The winners will be benefited from the Financial support, Personalized Coaching and Media visibility.
